Skin

Good skin quality and skin appearance is an indicator of youth.

I can help you improve the appearance, feel and health of your skin and also address problems such as pigmentation, redness and sun damage. There are various skin treatments to help improve your skin’s texture, complexion and skin tone. Proper skincare is the foundation for a beautiful complexion. Regular skin treatments are important to helping your skin look and feel its very best. But to maintain the results and delay the sign of ageing, you need a daily skin treatment routine that is tailored to your skin type and concerns. The key is a simple skin protocol using products which have proven scientific validation.

Knowing how to care for your skin is the first step in protecting it and keeping it looking its best. I will create a bespoke skincare program to suit your specific skin type that also addresses any of your concerns. Keeping your skin in good condition will support other treatments for optimal results.

Skin Tags

Skin tags are small, brown or flesh-coloured growths that protrude from the surface of the skin, usually by a few millimetres. Often mistaken for warts, skin tags can appear anywhere on the body but are typically found in areas where skin repeatedly rubs against itself, such as the armpits, groin, eyelids and neck. Some skin tags grow over time and very occasionally can become as large as 5 centimetres. These are easily treated within one appointment.

Sun Damage

Peels are a great and easy way to correct skin damaged by too much sun. Peels are designed to minimise the appearance of surface lines, smooth out rough texture and aid in helping to clear acne and sun damaged skin. Multiple treatments may be required to achieve the desired results. Other treatment for sun damage include micro needling with serums,  tissue growth factors, topicals and cosmeceuticals.

Pigmentation

Is your skin plagued by stubborn, annoying spots or patches of discolouration that just won’t fade? You’re not alone. Millions of women suffer from hyperpigmentation, which essentially is an excess production of melanin in the skin. Brown, red or pink, small or large, clustered or diffuse, hyperpigmentation can occur anywhere. Any part of the skin that is darker than the rest is hyperpigmented. While it can be corrected – it takes diligent use of the right products and time to see results. The best thing you can do to prevent it is to wear SPF daily, since the sun is a major culprit. It’s not uncommon for the skin above the upper lip to become dark – it actually changes the skin tone and in most cases it’s not hair that’s causing the darkness. Waxing and threading the upper lip can cause trauma to the skin leading to hyperpigmentation. An increase in hormones can also cause melasma or hyperpigmentation. Since the sun and tanning is a major culprit of discoloured skin, tanning is another reason why hyperpigmentation is on the rise. Treatments for this include peels, micro needling with serums or tissue growth factors, topicals and cosmeceuticals.

After

It’s not easy to find a doctor you trust when it comes to your face.  Dr. Sibthorpe’s “Less is more” philosophy worked for me.  I now look like a better version of myself and feel a lot more confident.

Sarah

There’s no one I would trust to administer treatments to my face other than Dr. Sibthorpe.

Karens

I can’t believe I waited so long before removing my embarrassing skin tags. It’s such an easy – painless procedure. I am thrilled with the results.

Nina

I cannot tell you how many people have commented on how good my face looked after I had a profession peel…It’s amazing!

Diane

Wow, my skin looks and feels totally amazing. Having had a patch of dull and lackluster skin I am just so impressed with the results.

Gemma

“I can’t praise Dr Sibthorpe enough. My hormones were broken and I was in a real mess. After going through a horrendous menopause and taking HRT I gained 3 stone in weight around my middle only. I moved with his guidance and help onto bio identical hormones and he reached out weekly to see how I was getting on, always going the extra mile. I was in such despair and am now finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you very much – I really really appreciate your help.” – Mary
